林新（笔名凌星），艺术家，符号学者，中国当代女子画会理事及江西省美术协会会员。其早年从事文学与声音艺术创作，在中国境内获奖近20个；近10年开始纸本重彩水墨艺术创作，并逐渐转向综合材料及装置艺术创作。自2017年起，其平面水墨作品《荷•结》、《丝•结》、《女神》等，装置作品《木卫2的想象》及《痛001#：女性可以说痛》等，开始出现在北京、上海、南京、南昌及美国纽约等地的多类美术展览中。其中，表达女性主义观点的装置作品《痛001#：女性可以说痛》参加了2021年8月在上海举办的“飞路Flyway中英精神健康艺术展”。其有数幅作品被机构和私人收藏。

Lin Xin （Pen name Ling Xing）, artist, semiotician, a director of China contemporary women's Painting Association and a member of Jiangxi Art Association. In her early years, she was engaged in literary and sound art creation and won nearly 20 awards in China.
